An initiavite to spread smiles
The Care Box is an initiative that was born in March 2020 with an aim to sweeten up people's day.
Spreading some smiles and joy through home-baked delicious treats in a beautifully packed Box!
During the U.K. Lockdown, I found myself spending more time at home, with lots of time to spare without the daily commute and being stuck at home indefinitely. I always bake when I find the time, so now I had so much time - naturally, I had to bake! However, my friends (who I'd normally invite to eat it all ) were not able to come over anymore. I also knew people who were either home alone, or away from their families, so I really wanted to give them a reason to smile! Hence The Care Box was born!
During the first lockdown, I was selling the Care Boxes non-profit, however as the business started growing, I started investing more time and funds into it, and decided to make it my true side-hustle!
2020 was a terrible year in many aspects, with fear and sadness spread world wide, but it created the right conditions for me to build Rea's Alchemies, and I am so very grateful for that!
I am now adding more options to Care Box collection, including Treat Boxes, Chocolates and Tray Bakes!
